Pershore Community Cupboard thanks OCM for its continued Christmas support

Last year, the Community Cupboard provided supermarket vouchers and food parcels to 160 families. This was an increase from 115 the year before. With many households continuing to face financial pressures, the Christmas campaign remains a vital source of help for those struggling at this time of year.

This year’s recent donation from OCM will help provide 160 boxes of biscuits and 320 Cadbury selection boxes, all of which will accompany the supermarket vouchers purchased by the Community Cupboard. These small seasonal treats bring joy to families who may otherwise find Christmas a difficult period.

Richard Tisdall from Pershore Community Cupboard shared his thanks for the continued support from the local IT recycling specialists.

“We are so grateful for OCM’s continued generosity and commitment to our local community. Their support makes a real difference, not only helping us to reach more families but also bringing some festive joy to those who may be struggling.”

OCM has supported Pershore Community Cupboard for several years as part of its commitment to giving back to the community.

Pershore Community Cupboard is run entirely by volunteers under the umbrella of Pershore Baptist Church. The charity provides food parcels, essential items and supermarket vouchers throughout the year, with additional support offered at Christmas.
