Data security compliance

We understand data security is of utmost importance for businesses, that’s why we’re proud to meet the highest standards of data security by complying with ISO 27001:2022 Information Security Management System. We also undergo regular independent audits to ensure the data and physical equipment we handle is consistent with this compliance.

In September 2025 the external audit for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 was undertaken by Approachable. Paul Mills, Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager, said:

An ITAD Gold partner with Blancco, whose software is certified by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), the UK Government’s National Technical Authority for Information Assurance.
Registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) (Data Protection Register No Z7511006) and we have previously invited the ICO for an advisory visit following the introduction of the Data Protection Act (2018).
Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant to ensure cardholder information is protected from security breaches.
Using the Experian Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for background checks and personnel assessments.

To enable us to consistently deliver high quality standards of service, we ensure that our processes and procedures are robust, and are continually improving by complying with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

As well as this, we’re audited annually by Approachable, a market-leader in compliance risk management and certification and we’re a Third Party Refurbisher (TPR) under the Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher Program.

Environmentally responsible

With all of the ITAD services we offer, we always aim to minimise our impact on the environment and we achieve this by fully complying with the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System. As a Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) compliant recycler, we also have regular Environment Agency reviews and site inspections.
