Certified and compliant data destruction
To support its secure data destruction services, OCM partners with Blancco, which is Common Criteria certified.
This international certification is recognised by 31 countries, including the UK through the National Cyber Security Centre. Both providers also hold additional accreditations, including NATO Information Assurance Product Catalogue and ADISA.
Meeting recognised data erasure standards
All secure data destruction services follow the NIST 800-88r1 Purge and Clear standard. Data can also be erased in line with the legacy HMG InfoSec Standard No. 5, where required.
Each process removes data from all areas of a device. The process includes hidden sectors, wear levelling areas and TPM chips. Encryption keys are reset to ensure no data can be recovered.
