It’s a match! Tech equipment donation to Worcester Snoezelen
October 4, 2024
OCM recently supported Worcester Snoezelen with a tech equipment donation. The organisation is an independent charity providing multi-sensory environments for people of all ages with disabilities and additional needs. In turn, we donated much-needed tech equipment. This included four refurbished laptops and screens, to support their ongoing work.

The charity offers a welcoming space where visitors can enjoy sensory rooms and hydrotherapy pools as well as other facilities that improve their quality of life. Their work is vital for communities across Worcestershire and neighbouring counties.
In short, Worcester Snoezelen provides sensory happiness for people with disabilities and additional needs.

New tech equipment
Beth Hiatt, Data and Impact Officer at Worcester Snoezelen, shared her gratitude:
“We want to extend a huge thank you to Steve and the team at OCM for kindly donating new tech equipment, including four new laptops and screens. As a small independent charity, this donation has made such a difference. The new equipment will help us continue our work supporting people of all ages with disabilities and additional needs from across Worcestershire and the surrounding counties.”
It’s a match
OCM’s donation is part of our ongoing commitment to help charities manage their IT equipment needs through the Match My Project platform. In turn, the initiative connects tech suppliers with organisations that need support. This ensures that refurbished laptops and other essential tech equipment are put to good use. As a result, this then benefits communities and enhances sustainability.
Steve Turberfield, Corporate Account Manager, at OCM, said:
“Working with Worcester Snoezelen to provide the tech they need has been a rewarding experience for us. Our platform is designed to make connections like these, helping charities optimise their IT resources and focus on what they do best – supporting people in their communities. So, we’re delighted to have played a part in helping them continue their important work.”
IT Lifecycle Management
Through this platform and other services like IT Lifecycle Management and asset management, OCM contribute positively to both businesses and community organisations. Ensuring that tech equipment is used effectively and sustainably. In addition, this match is just one of many and the team look forward to facilitating in the future.
