Inevitably your old IT equipment cannot be reused or refurbished, you must recycle it responsibly.

With over 35 years history in the ITAD industry OCM are a WEEE compliant recycler who are committed to disposing responsibly of any waste produced from unwanted IT assets. To ensure the responsible and sustainable disposal of redundant IT assets, we extract recoverable components to ensure no waste is sent to landfill.

Recycling old IT equipment conserves natural resources. Many of the materials used in IT equipment can be recycled and reused, which helps to conserve natural resources such as copper, gold, and silver.

How waste is handled at OCM is one of OCM’s priorities to ensure we comply with our ISO 14001 Environmental Management System’s objectives. Sorting of components and some materials is handled by OCM before being sent to recycling partners for further destruction and processing. OCM along with all of our recycling partners have the relevant licences and registrations in place and are assessed annually.
