We’ll collect your equipment securely
Once we’ve purchased your unwanted IT assets, we’ll arrange for collection from your premises anywhere in the UK, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
All of our vehicles are fitted with GPS tracking devices and are equipped with secure locking containers to safely transport your IT equipment. Our drivers are also security vetted and are highly experienced with collecting IT assets in a quick and efficient manner, ensuring minimal disruption for you and your business.
After collection, all items are taken to our secure storage facility where they’re immediately booked into a ‘quarantine’ area upon arrival. Here, they’ll be sorted, recorded and separated accordingly for data erasure.
We’ll erase all of your sensitive data accordingly
After your assets have been sorted, we’ll begin our work of erasing all of your sensitive data. We’ve partnered with Blancco to provide you with a certified data erasure solution and this guarantees all of your sensitive data will be completely sanitised from all devices. This robust process prevents any unintended disclosure of stored information, giving you the reassurance of knowing your IT assets are being securely and properly processed.
Fully compliant with strict data regulations, our state-of-the-art solution is 100% effective and is much more reliable than other standard deletion and formatting techniques. You’ll have full traceability of the process through tracking of serial numbers and unique identifiers, keeping you fully up to date on progress.
We resell and recycle
We’re committed to reselling, reusing or recycling equipment where possible so we can reduce the amount of waste going to landfill. After your assets have been completely sanitised of all sensitive data, you can be sure that they can be reused, sold or donated with confidence.
Whatever you’d like us to do with your IT equipment once all data has been completely wiped, we’ll get to work in fulfilling your requirements. If your IT assets can’t be resold, reused or recycled, we’ll destroy your equipment responsibly. We’re a Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) compliant recycler, meaning we’ll extract every last component possible to help reduce the amount of waste going to landfill. You’ll have full transparency on our disposal process as we’ll provide you with full end-to-end documentation for each item we destroy.
You’ll receive a complete audit trail
When we process your IT assets, you will receive a complete audit inventory and relevant documentation required for your records. This will include detailed information for models, serial and asset numbers for each item. Additionally, our data erasure process provides 100% traceability through the tracking of serial numbers and unique identifiers (Blancco erasure IDs) which will also be included in your audit.
If we destroy, shred or recycle your IT equipment, we’ll issue you a certificate for each item. For non-hazardous and hazardous waste, such as cathode ray tubes and lead acid batteries, we’ll send you waste transfer notes.
All of your important documentation can be managed in the OCM secure portal share point, allowing you to keep all of your records in one place for easy access with your own login.
